Before beginning, you must be signed into MyScouts. See How to Sign Into MyScouts tutorial for assistance.
1. After signing into MyScouts, to access the Scouting Fundamenals e-learning sessions, select DAVID HEUSTIS Learning Centre from the left menu.

1. On the left side is a list of available courses. Select WoodBadge 1.
1. Select Content
1. Select the first session, Canadian Path Principles
1. Select the first topic. In this case, the first topic is Part1: PLAN within How to Facilitate the SPICES.
A new window will open.
The session may take some time to load.
1. Press the Play (>) button.
Some topics will end by requesting that you close the window (or browser tab) that was opened.
1. To do this, select EXIT SESSION
1. Select one of the > arrows at the right of the screen to continue to the next topic.
1. When some topics are completed, the Wrap Up screen will appear. Again, click one of the > arrows to move to the next topic or session.
When a session is completed, a badge will appear in the session to indicate completion. Using the table of Contents on the left, select the next session you wish to complete.
1. If all sessions are completed, select Course Home from the blue menu at the top.

1. Check that the WoodBadge Award has now appeared. If not, go back to Content and make sure that all sessions have been completed.
2. Select My Home to return to main screen of the Learning Centre.
1. On the left side of the top menu, select MyScouts.
If you have completed all the sessions, Wood Badge I for the Canadian Path will appear on the 'My Training' tab within MyScouts with a delay of up to one day. If it does not appear after one day, contact Help Centre and notify them of the problem.
Next Steps: Inform your Group Commissioner that you have completed WoodBadge I. This is important, as they are not otherwise notified.
Once you have become comfortable with the program, in your second year, or later in your first year, consider taking Wood Badge Part II.
